Tire, wheel and rim mechanics assess, fix, or replace damaged vehicle parts so that their customers can drive around safely. They must be skilled at listening to their customers, hoisting and suspending vehicles using jacks, testing tire pressure and rims, removing and replacing hardware like wheel nuts, and conducting final inspections to make sure vehicles comply with safety standards.
