Industrial electricians plan, assemble, install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment used in commercial and industrial buildings. They work with large electrical motors and massive power supplies, and they must check that electrical connections are safe and meet the electrical code. They spend much of the day standing on their feet and working at heights or in confined spaces.
