Tool and die design draftspeople draw plans for templates, patterns, and components for tooling, dies, and other equipment. They develop and prepare engineering drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, specification sheets, and other data. They use computer-aided design and graphics drafting stations to complete their plans.
