CABINETMAKER
Sylvain Landry was a student who did not enjoy the academic part of high school and needed another way to obtain his diploma. He participated in co-op and worked for a wonderful company named ‘North Bay Woodworking’. His employer, Laurent Boileau, took him under his wing, and signed him as an apprentice. He helped Sylvain move forward and succeed at a very rewarding career. He graduated from École secondaire catholique Algonquin two years ago and is now
now continuing his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker. He will be attending college in order to complete his level 2 in March 2015. He is confident that he will be ready to write his final exam in 2016. He enjoys working at North Bay Woodworking and plans to continue his career with this company.
